The Wenger Pathfinder is an 85mm model targeted towards the hiker or backpacker, featuring the compass and orienteering tool.
The Pathfinder toolset was available under several names:
The Classic 12 without any image on the front scale; later as the Backpacker 12 with a boot image printed on the front scale; later still, in 2009, as the Evolution 12 Backpacker - also with the boot image.

Standard red synthetic scales with an image of a backpacker imprinted on the front scale.
The 2006 European catalog lists this model - without any image on the front scale - as the Classic 12.
A later version, still listed in the 2008 catalog, has the backpacker figure replaced by a printed boot image.
In 2009 a newer version was introduced with Evolution scales and the boot image printed on the front scale.
