Commander

Wenger Commander. Picture by enki_ck. The Wenger Commander is a 2 layer 85mm Swiss Army Knife featuring the basic tool set, but including a nail file/cleaner rather than a small blade.

The similar Wenger Serrated Commander is available with either 100% serrated main blade, or a 70% serrated combo-edge main blade.

The similar Classic 07, Classic 10 and model 1.10.03, includes toothpick and tweezers.

Scales 

Red synthetic scales are standard, but the Wenger Snife series is based on this knife so many strange scale designs are available as well as standard color variations. Check out the Wenger Snife Photo Gallery to see several variations.

Variations

  1. Serrated Commander with a 100% Serrated main blade.
  2. Serrated Commander with a 70% Serrated main blade.
  3. The Ivanhoe is a member of the Wenger Dynasty Series, and features black enameled metal scales with a emblem consisting of a Swiss shield and heraldic crest.
  4. The Jorg Hysek Editions, designed by renowned designer Jorg Hysek, feature steel and carbon-fiber ergonomic handles, and a PVD coated corkscrew. These were available with Red, Blue, Green, and Black carbon-fiber handle inlays.
  5. The Hardwoods 10 features standard polished tools and camouflage scales, the "Wenger" company name is embossed on the front scale and it includes toothpick and tweezers.
  6. The Camo 07 was the precursor of the Hardwoods 10 model, and features standard polished tools and a different pattern camouflage scales. There is no "Wenger" company name embossed on the front scale and no provision for toothpick and tweezers.
  7. The Classic 07, Classic 10 and model 1.10.03, includes toothpick and tweezers. The Classic 07 is available in Red, Blue, and White.
  8. The Basic 07 is part of an economic line of knives, sold at a cheaper price, and usually features the Wenger shield just printed on the front scale.
